BJP retains Arunachal Pradesh, wins 46 seats in 60-member Assembly
New Delhi: The BJP returned to power in Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive term on Sunday by securing a majority by winning 46 seats in the 60-member assembly.
Election Commission officials gave this information. Polling for 50 of the 60 assembly seats in the state was held on April 19 along with the Lok Sabha polls. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had already won 10 seats unopposed.
