Bollywood mourns Pahalgam terror attack; stars express grief and condemn the incident

Mumbai: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 16 lives and left several injured, has triggered widespread outrage and sorrow across the country.
The assault, targeting innocent tourists, has drawn strong condemnation from Bollywood and television celebrities, many of whom expressed their grief on social media.
Actor Sonu Sood posted an Instagram story saying, “I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on an innocent tourist in Pahalgam, Kashmir. There should be no place for terrorism in a civilised world and this act of cowardice is unacceptable. My deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
Akshay Kumar, reacting to the incident on X, wrote, “I am shocked to hear this news. Killing innocent people in this manner is a sheer sin. Praying for their families.”
Veteran actor Anupam Kher condemned the attack in a video shared on Instagram. Alongside the video, he wrote, “Wrong, wrong, wrong. Pahalgam massacre case!! Words are impotent today.”
Television actor Gurmeet Chaudhary also expressed his sorrow, writing, “Heart-wrenching incident. Tourists were targeted at a place meant for peace and beauty. Prayers for the victims.”
The attack has not only shaken the nation but also left the entertainment industry in grief, with many calling for justice and an end to such brutality.
