Boyfriend and girlfriend committed suicide 6 months ago, families get their statues married

New Delhi: A strange case has come to light in Tapi district of Gujarat. Here in Newala village, a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship was not acceptable by their family. They were refused to get married and both committed suicide by hugging each other.

After this, the effigy of the boy and girl were made by their family members and got married following rituals.
Actually, a boy named Ganesh wanted to marry his girlfriend Ranjana. Ganesh took Ranjana to his home in August 2022. His family had denied the relationship. After this, both of them left the house and their body was found hanging on the same rope on the tree a few hours later.
