Bring aadhar card to meet me in Mandi office: MP Kangana, Congress attacks “Our doors open for everyone”

New Delhi: “If you want to meet me, bring the Aadhaar card.” There has been a ruckus in Himachal Pradesh over this statement by Kangana Ranaut, the MP for the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency.

The Congress has raised questions about this. The Congress has said that it is not right for an elected representative to behave like this with the people of their constituency.

BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, made a statement in Mandi that if the people of the Mandi parliamentary constituency want to meet her, it would be good if they bring an Aadhaar card because it will show whether they are from the parliamentary constituency or just tourists.

Kangana Ranaut said in a press conference, “Our goal is for the public to come and join us, not just for the purpose of getting work done. Those who wish to serve the public and are keen on politics should come here and join. I’ll see you often on the go. If you want to discuss anything, feel free to come here.”

Kangana Ranaut provided the address of her office in Mandi. She said, “Himachal attracts a lot of tourists, so it is necessary to have an Aadhaar card from the Mandi area. Along with this, your work related to the constituency should also be written in the letter,” she said, adding, “Tourists come so much that common people are inconvenienced.”

Meanwhile, Congress attacked MP for this act. Vikramaditya Singh wrote on his Facebook page, “If you want to meet me, an Aadhaar card is not required.”

“We are people’s representatives. Therefore, it becomes our responsibility to meet people from every section of the state. Whether it is a small task, a big task, or a policy matter, whether it’s personal work, it does not require any identity. If a person is coming to a public representative, they are coming for some work,” he said.
