Case filed against Anmol Bishnoi for threatening Bhim army chief
New Delhi: A case has been registered against Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, for allegedly issuing death threats to Bhim Army chief Satpal Tanwar. Anmol reportedly made the threats from the US and Canada, using phone numbers from Zimbabwe and Kenya.
Following the seriousness of the allegations, a senior police official confirmed that the STF, crime unit, and multiple cybercrime teams have been mobilized to investigate. Efforts are underway to bring Anmol back to India.
In his complaint, Tanwar said that he received several threatening calls from Anmol on October 30, lasting a total of 6 minutes and 41 seconds. During these calls, Anmol allegedly harassed Tanwar’s female secretary as well.
Cyber police investigations have corroborated Tanwar’s claims, leading to an FIR against Anmol at Sector 37 police station. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has since announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for Anmol’s apprehension.
