CBI arrests former RG Kar college principal Sandeep Ghosh in corruption case

West Bengal: After several days of questioning, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday arrested controversial former principal of Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandeep Ghosh.

Three others — Debasish, Vikram Singh and Sanjay Vishist — were also arrested in the case. They have been arrested in connection with the investigation of financial irregularities in the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had named former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Sandeep Ghosh in connection with its probe into alleged financial irregularities at the institute during his tenure.
