CBI gets permission to prosecute CM Kejriwal, Durgesh Pathak to also be prosecuted
New Delhi: The CBI on Friday told a Delhi court that it has received sanction to prosecute Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak in a Delhi liquor policy case.
The CBI submitted this information before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, who listed the matter for further hearing on August 27.
Kejriwal’s judicial custody ends on August 27. The court had on August 12 granted 15 days to the CBI to obtain requisite sanctions to prosecute Kejriwal and Pathak in the case.
