CBI team reaches RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata, digital mapping of crime scene to be done

Kolkata: In the rape and murder case of a trainee doctor in Kolkata, the CBI team has reached RG Kar Medical College and Hospital for digital mapping of the crime scene.

According to CBI sources, in the investigation so far, it is seen in the CCTV footage that the accused Sanjay Rai comes to the hospital at around 11:00 pm on Thursday night.

He stays in the hospital for about 30 minutes after there. In these 30 minutes, the movement of accused Sanjay Rai is visible in the hospital. After this, he again comes to the hospital between 3:45 and 3:50 am and is seen going inside the seminar room for some purpose. After about 35 minutes, he comes out of the seminar room.

According to sources, the victim and her friends had ordered the food at around 12 am and it was ordered through an online app. The Kolkata Police had also recorded the statement of this delivery boy.

According to the postmortem report, the victim also died four hours after eating food for the last time. The CBI has also recorded the statements of the four doctors of the deceased who had ordered food from an online app and had eaten with her at night.
