Centre announces bonus for employees ahead of Diwali
New Delhi: The central government has resumed Diwali bonus for its employees of certain categories of Group C, Group D and Group B. In an office memorandum, the Department of Expenditure under the Finance Ministry said Group C, D and contractual employees will get bonus this year subject to fulfilment of certain conditions of service.
The maximum limit for bonus payment under these orders will be Rs 7,000 per month.
The bonus will also be applicable to eligible employees of central paramilitary and armed forces. According to the order, employees who were in service till March 31, 2021, and have provided at least six months of continuous service during the 2020-21 financial year will be entitled to get this bonus.
