CM orders to perform last rites of Baba Siddiqui with full state honours

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed officials to arrange for the last rites of Baba Siddiqui with full state honours as he was a cabinet minister in the Maharashtra government from 2004 to 2008.

This information has been shared by the Chief Minister’s Office. Siddiqui, a three-time MLA from Bandra West, had quit the Congress party in February and joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction.
