Congress files police complaint against four leaders, including Ravneet Bittu
New Delhi: The Congress on Wednesday filed a police complaint and demanded registration of an FIR against four BJP and Shiv Sena leaders, including Union minister Ravneet Bittu, for their controversial remarks and threatening statements against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by party treasurer Ajay Maken at the Tughlaq Road police station. “Rahul Gandhi is being threatened with death because he talks about protecting Dalits, backward classes, minorities and the Constitution.”
The Congress demanded registration of an FIR against Union minister Ravneet Bittu, BJP leader Tarvinder Marwah, UP minister Raghuraj Singh, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad under sections 351, 352, 353, 61 and 351 of the IPC.
Union Minister Ravneet Bittu had criticised Rahul Gandhi for his remarks against Sikhs, calling him the country’s biggest enemy and terrorist, besides making controversial statements against Rahul Gandhi.
