Congress released the third list of 40 candidates
New Delhi: Congress has released the third list of 40 candidates for Haryana Assembly on Wednesday evening. 32 candidates were announced in the first list and nine candidates in the second. Thus, the party has announced a total of 81 candidates for the 90-member assembly. Thursday is the last day to file nominations. Congress has given ticket to Aditya Surjewala, son of party MP Randeep Surjewala from Kaithal.
Similarly, a list of five candidates has also been released. The party has fielded Mir Iqbal from Baramulla, Nizamuddin Bhatt from Bandipora, Bhushan Dogra from Suchetgarh (SC), Ashok Bhagat from Akhnoor (SC) and Tara Chand from Chhamb.
On the other hand, BJP has released the third list for the Haryana Assembly elections today. Rohtash Jangra from Sirsa, Kanwar Singh Yadav from Mahindergarh and Satish Phagna from NIT Faridabad have been made candidates in this list.
