Congress wins 2 out of 3 seats in Himachal bypolls
Shimla: Addressing party workers after winning two seats in the bypolls held in three assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the people have defeated the money power and the people’s power has won.
He said that this is the victory of the voters of the state as well as the hardworking workers of the Congress party. The people of the state have rejected the politics of horse-trading and have given their vote to maintain political transparency in the state.
He said that after 25 years, the Congress candidate has won in Dehra and in Nalagarh also the Congress candidate has won with a big margin. Now no party in Himachal Pradesh will be able to muster the courage to do horse-trading politics in the coming 50 years and this message from the state will go to the politics of the whole country.
