‘Corona is not over’: PM Modi at high-level meeting, asks people to wear masks
New Delhi: In many countries, including China, Japan and the US, sub-variant BF.7 cases of Corona’s omicron are coming. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, four cases of BF.7 were also reported in India. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting on Thursday (December 22).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the high-level meeting that Corona is not over yet. He said, “Be fully prepared for covid. He advised the states to conduct audits to ensure readiness of oxygen cylinders, PSA plants, ventilators and infrastructure.

He said that vigilance should be increased at international airports and other places. PM Modi also stressed on the need for strong surveillance with a focus on genome sequencing and increasing testing. He has also asked everyone to wear masks.
