Defamation case against Rahul Gandhi to be heard on June 7

Sultanpur (UP) : The next hearing in the case filed against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah in 2018 will now be held on June 7.

Rahul’s lawyer Kashi Prasad Shukla today said the matter was scheduled to come up for hearing today but he has filed an application in the court stating that his client could not appear before the court as he was busy campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP leader Vijay Mishra had filed a defamation complaint against Rahul six years ago.
