Delhi coaching centre case: One engineer sacked for negligence, another suspension

New Delhi: The municipal corporation has sacked a junior engineer and suspended an assistant engineer following the death of three students at an IAS coaching centre in old Rajinder Nagar here.

As the BJP is protesting against the AAP government over the issue, the police used water cannons to disperse the protesters.

The police have arrested seven people in connection with the case. This was confirmed by DCP Central M. Harsh Vardhan has done it. The number of accused arrested in the case so far has gone up to seven.

On July 27, the basement of the coaching centre was flooded following rains in parts of Delhi. The three students were trapped in the basement.
