Delhi govt to start enrollment for Mahila Samridhi Yojana; Ayushman Bharat registration from March 8
New Delhi: The Delhi government will begin enrollment for the Mahila Samridhi Yojana on Thursday. Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 will be provided to women.
However, the BJP-led government’s flagship scheme is yet to receive cabinet approval. Once passed, eligibility criteria and other details will be shared.
BJP president JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and BJP women’s wing president are expected to attend the launch event.
Meanwhile, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh has announced that registration for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Delhi will commence on March 8.
The scheme offers health coverage of up to Rs. 10 lakh per beneficiary, with the central and Delhi governments contributing Rs. 5 lakh each. The initiative aims to improve access to healthcare and high-quality medical facilities in the capital.
