Delhi High Court rejects Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea in liquor policy scam case
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has once again rejected Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea. Arvind Kejriwal had challenged the CBI’s arrest by calling it illegal, but it was dismissed by the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has given this decision in the case of CBI in Delhi liquor policy.
The Delhi High Court has said that Arvind Kejriwal can approach the trial court for relief.
Kejriwal has been in jail for 115 days. Arvind Kejriwal has already been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in the ED case, but due to the rejection of the petition in the CBI case, Kejriwal will still have to remain in jail.
The high court had on July 29 reserved its order on the AAP leader’s bail plea after hearing arguments of Kejriwal and CBI lawyers in the corruption case arising out of the alleged excise policy scam.
