Delhi LG nominates Kailash Gahlot to hoist national flag in Delhi on August 15

New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Tuesday selected Delhi Home Minister Kailash Gahlot to hoist the national flag during the government’s Independence Day celebrations.

Kailash Gehlot has been given this responsibility because Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who usually leads the celebrations, is in jail after his arrest by the CBI in the alleged liquor policy case.

After LG VK Saxena chose Gehlot, the dispute between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the governor may increase once again.
