Delhi liquor policy case: Court sends K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9
New Delhi: A Delhi court on Tuesday sent K Kavitha, an accused in a money laundering case, to judicial custody till April 9. The ED sought time from the court to file a reply on Kavita’s bail plea, while Kavita’s lawyer said that till the time the ED wants time to file a reply on the regular bail plea, Kavitha should be granted interim bail.
Kavitha had also sought interim bail citing her son’s board exams. Kavitha’s interim bail plea will now be heard by the Rouse Avenue court on April 1.
During the hearing in the Rouse Avenue Court, K. Kavitha’s lawyer said that the CCTV footage of the interrogation that the ED is conducting should be preserved.
