Documentary on Yo Yo Honey Singh to stream on OTT from December 20

Mumbai: The much-anticipated documentary film Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, based on the life of renowned rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, is set to premiere on Netflix on December 20. Directed by Mozez Singh, the film offers an in-depth look at the artist’s journey, including his rise to fame, personal struggles, and rediscovery.

Producers Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain from Sikhya Entertainment expressed their excitement in a joint statement. “With Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, we delve into the story of Hirdesh Singh, the man behind the stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh. The film captures his resilience and unfiltered truth,” they said.

They also highlighted the collaboration with Netflix and Mozez Singh, following the success of their Oscar-winning documentary The Elephant Whisperers.

The producers added, “This is a story that fans and critics alike will find intriguing, offering a deeper insight into the life of a true desi artist.”

The documentary aims to provide fans with a never-before-seen perspective on one of India’s most influential hip-hop artists.
