ED summons Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot’s son in FEMA case
Punjab E News: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son for questioning in connection with a FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999) case. The timing of the ED’s summons coincides with the agency’s ongoing raids at the premises of Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara, related to the Rajasthan paper leak case.
With assembly elections scheduled in the state in just a few days, this move by the ED is seen as particularly significant right before the election. The ED has scheduled Vaibhav Gehlot, Ashok Gehlot’s son, for questioning at their Delhi office on Friday.
