Excise policy case: CM Kejriwal approaches SC against Delhi High Court order
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in the excise policy case, has approached the Supreme Court. CM Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court’s order refusing to quash his arrest by the CBI.
Recently, the Supreme Court has granted bail to former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in this case.
Kejriwal was arrested by the CBI on June 26 while he was in judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case registered by the ED.
He was later granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in the ED case. But he has not yet got bail in the CBI case.
