Excise scam: AAP leader Durgesh Pathak gets bail
New Delhi: A Delhi court today granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak in a corruption case related to an alleged excise scam. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till September 25 in the case.
The Delhi High Court also granted bail to Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai in a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi Excise Policy scam. Justice Nina Bansal Krishna, while granting the relief, said, “The bail is allowed.”
