“Facing media trial, truth will prevail”, says under-fire trainee IAS Puja Khedkar
New Delhi: Trainee IAS Puja Khedkar, who is surrounded by controversy, has said that the media trial proving me guilty is wrong. Pooja Khedkar, 34, is accused of using fraudulent means to clear the civil services examination, including allegedly misrepresenting herself under differently-abled and OBC categories.
She said, “Our Indian Constitution is based on the fact of innocence until proven guilty. So the media trial to prove me guilty is really wrong. It is everyone’s basic right. You can say it’s an allegation but to convict me like this is wrong.”
