Farmer leader urges residents to join farmers’ protest, criticizes BJP leaders
New Delhi: Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has called on residents of Punjab and Haryana to gather in large numbers at the Khanauri and Shambhu borders to mark the completion of 10 months of the farmers’ protest.
Addressing the media, Pandher emphasized the significance of the ongoing agitation, which he described as being for the people of India.
“I appeal to the residents of Punjab and Haryana to join us in large numbers as our protest has reached a significant milestone. Government agencies are attempting to sow confusion among the people,” Pandher said.
He also criticized Haryana MP Ram Chander Jangra for making “irresponsible statements” about the protest. Expressing dissatisfaction with BJP president J.P. Nadda, Pandher urged Nadda to take action against Jangra or remove him from the party. “Jangra must apologize for his remarks,” he added.
Pandher reiterated that the BJP cannot suppress the farmers’ movement, emphasizing the support and unity of the Indian people behind their cause.
