Farmers announce from Shambhu border: Kalash Yatra of Shubhkaran Singh’s ashes to be taken out across the country from 16

New Delhi: On the completion of the first month of the farmers’ agitation, the agitating farmers have announced to take out a Kalash Yatra of the ashes of martyred farmer Shubhkaran Singh across the country, which will be started from Haryana on March 16. While a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at Hisar on March 22, a function will also be held at Mohra Mandi near Ambala on March 31.

The modalities for the Kalash Yatra to be undertaken in the rest of the states will be announced later.

This information was given by farmer leaders from Haryana and Bihar including farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher, Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Manjit Singh Ghamana and Nirmal Singh Mohri during a press conference at Shambhu border today.
