Five policemen, teacher suspended for drug-terror links

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration today dismissed six government employees, including five policemen, from service for their involvement in anti-national activities. This information was given by the officials. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has invoked Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution to dismiss these employees from service.

The dismissed employees have been identified as Havildar Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, Selection Grade Sepoys Saif Din, Khalid Hussain Shah and Irshad Important Drivers, Sepoy Rahmat Shah and Teacher Najam Din. All of them had links with drug trafficking or smugglers and terrorists based in Occupied Kashmir.
