G20 Summit: US President Biden to visit India on September 7, hold bilateral meeting with PM Modi
New Delhi: Preparations for the G-20 Summit in India are in the final stages. Today, a full dress rehearsal is taking place for the G20 conference. US President Joe Biden is coming to India on Thursday to attend the G20 Summit.
The White House said that Joe Biden will also hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this occasion. This year, India is chairing the G20 Summit. India will host global leaders for the summit to be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10.
“The President will travel to New Delhi, India, on Thursday to participate in the G20 Leaders’ Summit,” the White House said in a statement on Friday.
On September 8, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi. On Saturday and Sunday, the President will attend the G20 Summit where the President and the G20 partners will discuss a range of joint efforts to tackle global issues, including clean energy transition and tackling climate change.
