Hardeep Puri hands over appointment letters to new appointees in Rozgar Mela
187 new appointees given appointment letters
Punjabenews: Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Sh. Hardeep Puri handed over appointment letters to new appointees in various central government departments during Rozgar Mela, today.
This third tranche of the Mela was organised by the Customs Commissionarate, Ludhiana at Shri Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here in which 25 out of 187 appointees were presented appointment letters by the Minister Sh. Puri himself and rest of them by other senior officials.
The new appointees and others present on the occasion were virtually addressed by the Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.
Addressing the audience Sh. Puri while congratulating the new appointees called upon them to think positive and work hard for the progress of India during the Amrit Kal.
He said India is the fifth largest economy in the world. Quoting the Prime Minister Sh. Puri said that India will be a developed country by 2047. He said younger generation has to play it’s positive role to shape new model India for Amrit Kal. He said youth will be the inheritors of new India for which they have to work responsibly.
He said the Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation.
Sh. Puri also said that the Central govt schemes are benefitting people from all walks of life and increasing their financial status. He said many schemes especially helped many countrymen during Covid pandemic.
The new appointees, selected from across the country, will join various positions/posts in Government of India departments in Punjab and Chandigarh as Junior Engineers, Junior Accountants, Assistant Professors, Technicians, Inspectors in Customs, Chowkidars among others.
The experience of newly inducted officials in learning from the Karmayogi Prarambh module was also shared during this Rozgar programme. Karmayogi Prarambh module is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government departments.
The first Rozgar Mela was organised on 22 Oct, 2022. This time in the third tranche, 71,000 appointment letters have been handed over to new appointees.
The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
Smt. Vrindaba Gohil, Commissioner of Customs, Ludhiana, also addressed the audience.
