Haryana announces Rs 50 lakh compensation, government job for family of slain army officer

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has announced a compensation of Rs 50 lakh and a government job for a family member of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a resident of Karnal who was killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

The Chief Minister said that any member of the family would be given a government job, according to the wishes of Lieutenant Narwal’s parents.
