Haryana DSP faces humiliation at Gurdas Maan’s show in Hisar

Hisar: DSP Jai Bhagwan faced humiliation during Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan’s show at Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) in Hisar, Haryana. The incident occurred when the DSP, posted in the Siwani block of Bhiwani district, attended the event after purchasing the most expensive ticket worth Rs 8,000 and took a seat in the front row.

Towards the end of the show, as Gurdas Maan sang the song ‘Main Haryana Ka Jat’, DSP Jai Bhagwan stood near the stage and began dancing. However, bouncers present at the venue grabbed him by the arm and pushed him away.

Despite revealing his identity as a DSP, the bouncers allegedly refused to listen and an argument ensued.

The incident angered the policemen deployed for security at the event, who reprimanded the bouncers and urged them to behave respectfully towards the officer.

Gurdas Maan had specially dressed in a traditional Haryanvi dhoti-kurta and white turban for the performance. Several administrative officers were also present at the event, including Barwala SDM Ved Prakash Bainiwal, Red Cross Secretary Ravindra Lohan, and Hansi SDM Rajesh Khoth.
