Haryana polls: Tension prevails in Nuh due to clash between groups
Chandigarh: Tension prevailed in Nuh on Saturday after clashes broke out between different groups during the ongoing polling for the Haryana Assembly elections. Meanwhile, there have been reports of stone pelting and clashes between different parties.
Meanwhile, 37 per cent polling was reported till 1.00 pm during the polling that began at 7 am for 90 assembly constituencies in the state.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker were among the early voters. Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala also cast their votes in the morning.
