Delhi: The Delhi High Court has said it will hear again the bail pleas of several accused, including Sharjeel Imam and Khalid Saifi, in the larger conspiracy case of the Delhi riots.
The court’s decision came after Justice Siddharth Mridul, who had reserved his verdict on at least three bail pleas, was elevated as the Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court.
A division bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Shailendra Kaur will commence hearing the appeals in January 2024.
