Himachal Pradesh: Muslim couple gets married as per Islamic rituals in temple

Chandigarh: The #Muslimcouple got #married as per #Islamicr rituals in the #temple complex in #Rampur in #Shimla district to spread the message of #religious #harmony. The #wedding took place in the premises of #ThakurSatyanarayan #temple run by #VishwaHinduParishad. People from #Muslim and #Hindu #communitiesgathered on the occasion.

The nikah was performed in the presence of a Maulvi, witness and lawyer. The Satyanarayan temple complex is the district office of VHP and RSS.
Vinay Sharma, general secretary of Thakur Satyanarayan Temple Trust Rampur, said, “VHP and RSS run the temple and the district office. The VHP and RSS are often accused of being anti-Muslim but here the Muslim couple got married. It shows that Sanatan dharma always inspires everyone to move forward and take everyone along.”
