Hours after sister’s death, TV actress Dolly Sohi dies of cancer

Mumbai: Actress Dolly Sohi, who performed brilliantly in television shows Jhanak aur Bhabhi, passed away at a hospital in Navi Mumbai early this morning due to cervical cancer.

She was 47 years old. This information was given by Sohi’s brother Manpreet. The actress was diagnosed with cervical cancer six months ago and was undergoing treatment since then. Sohi’s brother Manpreet said, “She is no more. She died at polo hospital around 4 am.”

She died at polo hospital around 4 am. She had cervical cancer and the disease had spread to her lungs. We admitted her to the hospital last night as his health deteriorated.

Dolly Sohi’s sister Amandeep Sohi also died of jaundice last night. She was also an actress. “Amandeep died of jaundice at DY Patil Hospital on Thursday. Dolly has worked in serials like Sohi Kusum, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Kumkum Bhagya and Parineeti.”
