“I am not BJP’s Delhi CM face”: Ramesh Bidhuri
New Delhi: BJP’s Kalkaji candidate Ramesh Bidhuri has dismissed claims by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suggesting he could be the BJP’s chief ministerial face in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Describing the allegations as “baseless” and “misleading propaganda,” Bidhuri emphasized his commitment to serving the public.
“In the last 25 years, I have been a two-time MP and three-time MLA. The party has given me a lot, and I don’t claim any post. However, Arvind Kejriwal has started a misleading campaign against me. I want to make it clear that I am not a contender for any post,” Bidhuri stated.
He further suggested that AAP’s claims signal an acknowledgment of BJP’s potential victory in Delhi.
“By claiming I am the chief ministerial face, Arvind Kejriwal has accepted that the BJP will form the government in the national capital. The rumours are unfounded, and I will continue to serve tirelessly as your servant,” he said.
