India, Pakistan renewed agreement on Sri Kartarpur Sahib corridor: MEA

New Delhi: India and Pakistan have renewed their agreement on the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for the next five years, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said today.

Pakistan charges a service charge of USD 20 per pilgrim and India has reiterated its request to the neighbouring country to waive off the fee, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government will continue to facilitate access to the Sikh community to their holy places,” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar wrote in a post on X.”
