India withdraws from 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan
New Delhi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed today that the Indian cricket team will not be participating in the Champions Trophy scheduled in Pakistan.
According to the PCB, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) of this decision, which was subsequently communicated to Pakistan.
Following this development, the PCB has reached out to the Pakistani government for further direction regarding the tournament planned for February-March next year.
A PCB spokesperson stated, “The PCB has received an email from the ICC indicating that the BCCI has notified them their team will not travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.”
