Interview in jail: Supreme Court dismisses gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s plea
New Delhi: The Supreme Court today dismissed the plea of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi challenging the Punjab and Haryana High Court order. The high court had ordered the TV channel to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and register an FIR against him in connection with the interview given in jail.
A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and S C Sharma said it was not in favour of interfering with the high court orders.

This is a matter of investigation. There are 73 cases registered against you. The gangster’s counsel argued that his side was not heard before passing the order. The apex court asked the gangster to approach the high court.
