Kejriwal rules out alliance with Congress for Delhi Assembly elections
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday reiterated that his party will not form an alliance with the Congress for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said that the AAP would contest the elections independently, putting to rest speculation about a potential collaboration between the two parties.
His statement follows recent media reports suggesting the possibility of an alliance for the 70-seat Delhi Assembly polls, scheduled for February.
This is not the first time Kejriwal has dismissed the idea of joining forces with the Congress. Earlier this month, he made a similar declaration, emphasizing the AAP’s decision to go solo in the elections.
