Liquid thrown at Kejriwal during ‘Nation Padyatra’ in Delhi

New Delhi: A security breach occurred during a ‘Nation Padyatra’ led by AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. A man was detained for allegedly throwing liquid at Kejriwal while he was interacting with supporters.

According to officials, Kejriwal was offering prayers with participants when the accused approached and threw liquid on him. Security personnel swiftly detained the man, who is said to be a local resident. The incident left Kejriwal and his security team visibly shaken as they were seen wiping his face afterward.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) condemned the incident, accusing the BJP-led central government of failing to ensure safety. “If a former chief minister is not safe in the national capital, where will a common man go?” questioned a party spokesperson.

The detainee has been taken to a local police station, and further investigations are underway.
