Lok Sabha Elections 2024: AAP to hold crucial meeting today, candidates likely to be finalised
New Delhi: The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Aam Aadmi Party is scheduled to convene in Delhi on Tuesday. During this session, discussions will revolve around potential candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Sources suggest that the meeting may finalize candidates for four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi and 13 seats in Punjab.
With the Lok Sabha elections fast approaching and the party’s decision not to forge an alliance with the Congress in the state, there’s little time left for candidate selection. Despite numerous meetings between the top leadership of AAP and Congress regarding an alliance, both parties have opted to contest independently in Punjab.
Additionally, the meeting will deliberate on candidate nominations not only for Delhi and Punjab but also for other states and union territories. The PAC committee previously convened on 14th February.
