Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain resign as ministers, CM Kejriwal accepts
New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain have resigned as ministers. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted the resignation of both of them. Manish Sisodia had the responsibility of many departments.
After Satyendra Jain went to jail, Manish Sisodia was looking after his department.
Of the 33 departments of the Delhi government, 18 departments were held by Manish Sisodia. Satyendra Jain has been in jail for nine months.
Since the arrest of Manish Sisodia in a case related to Delhi Excise Policy, the opposition parties had completely attacked the Kejriwal government.
At the same time, Satyendra Jain was in the post of Health Minister. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has said that this will not stop the work and the BJP will not succeed in its plan.
