Mobile internet services suspended in Poonch and Rajouri after the death of three persons called for questioning in connection with the attack on army vehicles
Mobile internet services were suspended in Poonch and Rajouri districts in the wee hours today as security forces launched an operation to track down militants involved in the recent attack on two Army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
Five soldiers were killed in the attack on army vehicles by the terrorists. Three persons, who were called for questioning by the army in connection with the attack, died under suspicious circumstances.
Some videos have surfaced on social media, in which the suspects are shown being allegedly tortured. After these videos surfaced, there is anger among the people.
Mobile internet services were snapped in both the border districts during these incidents. Army and civil administration officials have not commented on the issue.
