Modi govt can’t conduct exams without ‘leaks and frauds’: Congress
New Delhi: The Congress on Thursday slammed the Centre over the scrapping of UGC-NET, alleging that the Modi government cannot conduct any exams without “leaks and frauds”. The Ministry of Education on Wednesday ordered the cancellation of the UGC-NET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and handed over the case to the CBI for a thorough probe.
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh posted on social media platform X, “The Prime Minister performs a spectacular spectacle called ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ every year but his government cannot conduct any examination without leaks and fraud. Very serious questions have been raised on NEET-Graduate 2024. The education minister has also been forced to accept this. NTA integrity is under severe suspicion.”
