Mohammed Shami returns to Indian team for T20 series against England
New Delhi: Fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been named in the Indian squad for the upcoming five-match T20 series against England, marking his return to the national team after 14 months.
Suryakumar Yadav will lead the side in the series, which begins in Kolkata on January 22.
The squad includes Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel (vice-captain), Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, and Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper).
Shami’s inclusion strengthens India’s bowling attack as the team gears up to face England in a competitive series.
