Mumbai Police in collaboration with Punjab Police arrest key accused in high-profile Baba Siddique murder case

Chandigarh: In a significant development, the Mumbai Police, in collaboration with the Punjab Police, has apprehended Sujeet Sushil Singh, a resident of Mumbai, who was wanted in connection with the murder of Baba Siddique.

Singh, a crucial figure in the conspiracy, reportedly knew about the murder plan three days prior, having been informed by another accused, Nitin Gautan Sapre. He also allegedly provided logistical support to facilitate the crime.

Singh has now been transferred to the custody of the Mumbai Police for further investigation.

In a joint statement, both police forces underscored their dedication to public safety and interstate cooperation, affirming that the successful operation reflects their commitment to justice and enhanced security across state boundaries.
