Murder of Baba Siddiqui: Gurmail’s horrific journey from Kaithal to Mumbai

Kaithal: Gurmail Baljit Singh has been arrested in connection with the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. He is a resident of Narad village in Kaithal, which has recently gained attention in Mumbai.

Gurmail, once a simple young man, later became associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He first made headlines in 2019 when he killed Sunil, a youth from his village.

According to his family, they had disowned Gurmail Singh 11 years ago. In 2019, he was arrested for murder but was later granted bail, Kaithal SP Rajesh Kalia stated. In 2022, he faced additional charges after a mobile phone was recovered from him in jail. He is also accused of assaulting another youth.

Gurmail’s grandmother, Phooli Devi, said that his parents had passed away, and the family had cut ties with him 11 years ago. She said that he is no longer part of the family and should be given exemplary punishment according to the law.
