NIA announces Rs 5 lakh reward for gangster wanted in grenade attack case

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has declared a ₹5 lakh reward for information leading to the arrest of gangster Harpreet Singh, wanted in connection with a grenade attack on a house in Sector 10-D, Chandigarh, on October 1, 2024.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the NIA assured informants that their identity would remain confidential. Harpreet Singh, also known as Happy, Happy Pasia, or Jora, hails from Ajnala tehsil in Amritsar and is linked to the attack.
